Paper Airplanes

I had a request to try and find some paper airplanes. I really didn’t see anything I liked, so I decided to draw my own. I started off in Illustrator and imported the white version into Photoshop so that I could color it. While in Photoshop, I played around with different transforms to get the different angles. There are three colors: white, blue, and pink with 3 variations. Below is an example of the white version. Continue reading to download the individual files.

Frames – 1024×768

Frames are so easy to create using Photoshop layer styles. There are all kinds of free ones available, including ones from the Photoshop Exchange on Adobe.com. Create a layer in Photoshop; outline the layer using Edit > Stroke and whatever width you want the frame to be (I also have it stroke “inside”). Then just apply a style from the Styles palette (typically in the same palette group as “Colors” and “Swatches” … you can even use styles created for text. The frames below were done at a resolution of 1024×768 or at a 5:4 ratio.
